John Abbott College - UConn Huskies #1 QB a West Islander

9 septembre 2019 - In an exciting turn of events on Saturday, former Abbott quarterback Jack Zergiotis (‘19) got the nod from UConn Huskies coach Edsall that he is their #1 QB going forward.

Jack, a West Island native, signed with the University of Connecticut in December 2018 and was listed as the 3rd QB on the Huskies roster for the current season.

A surprise mid-week announcement had the new recruit jumping in as starter against Big Ten Illinois on Saturday at Rentschler Field. Despite their loss, Coach Edsall confirmed at the post-game press conference that Zergiotis will remain their starting quarterback from here on in.
