La tournée des cégeps se poursuit au CEGEP - John Abbott College.

Marie Montpetit, PDG de la Fédération des cégeps, a visité le Collège John Abbott. Elle a notamment eu l’occasion d’explorer les nouveaux laboratoires du programme de techniques de pharmacie, où des étudiantes et étudiants apprennent concrètement à fabriquer des médicaments — un apprentissage de grande précision, essentiel pour le réseau de la santé.

Elle a visité le pavillon Anne-Marie Edward, nommé en hommage à une diplômée du cégep victime de la tragédie de Polytechnique. C’est un espace moderne et inspirant dédié aux sciences pures et aux programmes professionnels.
La rencontre avec le comité de direction a permis des échanges riches sur les projets en développement, les défis locaux et les priorités de l’établissement. Un grand merci à Teresa Berghello et à l’équipe du Collège John Abbott pour son accueil, sa vision et son engagement envers la formation collégiale.

Marie Montpetit, CEO of the Fédération des cégeps, visited John Abbott College. She had the opportunity to explore the new laboratories of the Pharmacy Technology program, where students learn hands-on how to manufacture medications—a highly precise skill that is essential for the healthcare system.
She visited the Anne-Marie Edward Pavilion, named in honor of a CEGEP graduate who was a victim of the Polytechnique tragedy. It is a modern and inspiring space dedicated to pure sciences and professional programs.
The meeting with the executive committee provided an opportunity for rich discussions on projects currently under development, local challenges, and the institution's priorities.
